tailoring ethos
our tailoring prioritizes sartorial aesthetic and detailing. we take the technics and praxis refinde by artisants across decades and marry them to sartorial design and martial detailing. jackets are cut with a lower buttoning point, extended and soft shoulder, high armhole, draped chest and back, elongated jacket skirt, and medium-to-high lapel gorge. whereas trousers come high waisted, pleated, and cuffed.
to this end, to each client a unique pattern will be cut and will constantly be adjusted until it has been perfected: the fitting sessions PUT EMPHASIS ON THE MORPHOLOGICAL UNIQUENESS OF EVERY SINGLE BODY, AND PRIVILEGES FIT and THE VISUAL SURFACE,
our process
after booking an appointmnt, the team at syollogos will have an intiial consultation session with the client to discuss style and fabrc, followed by our tailors taking all the measurements needed with great attention to every minute detail
During the second meeting in about two weeks time, the first fitting will be conducted and alterations are made to the drafted pattern_
in the third (baste) fitting further alterations are made and final details are observed and reassessed and then readjusted.
jackets and coats take up to one month to be finished whereas shirts and trousers would take one less fitting session and shorter time to be delivered,
